On Wednesday 11/16/09 I'll be presenting in HotComm TTROOM at 4:30pm EDT, password is "trading". HotComm is the preferred chat client for traders. Get the HotComm free trial if you don't already have it.

Last Friday a press-release announcing the software was emailed to all Ninja Trader users. ZoneTrader is written in NInjaTrader using c#. The current version is compiled for Ninja 6.5, but I've been a Ninja 7.0 Beta tester, and once 7.0 is released, we'll have a 7.0 version ready. Free Trial versions of the software are available through TraderUSA.net.

I've spent the last year learning how to Day Trade. Initially I planned on just learning my Dad's system, but over time, I've worked on, improved, and rewritten it. My ultimate goal is to have an automated strategy that I use personally. I probably won't release or sell that strategy, but the by-product of getting to an automated strategy has turned into a very nice charting and trading package.

On Wednesday I'll go over ZoneTrader, what each of the indicators are, what to look for, and how to configure ZoneTrader to help you trade better. Hopefully I'll show off some of the nuances such as the real time news indicator, intrabar charting, and the helper including multi-time frame charting options. I'll probably show off a few Ninja features too, such as Market Replay and on-chart order placement.
